rioSpoofer overrides your Android GPS with a spot you pick, holds it for as long as you set, then reverts to your real location automatically. No Play Store, no accounts, works offline.
Heads up: rioSpoofer uses Android's built-in mock-location feature, so you enable it once under Developer Options → Select mock location app. Apps that specifically check the OS mock flag can still tell a location is simulated; that's an Android limitation, not something any app can hide.
What it does
Everything runs on-device. Pick a place, pick how long, activate.
Set a location
- Tap the map to drop a spot, or paste coordinates (decimal or DMS)

Installing it
It's not on the Play Store, so you sideload it once. Takes about two minutes.
- Download the APK, then open the file on your phone.
- If Android warns you, allow “install unknown apps” for your browser or files app, then install.
- Turn on Developer Options: Settings → About phone → tap

The questions you'll actually have
Sideloading an app raises fair concerns. Here are honest answers.
Is it safe to install?
It's the same APK I run on my own phone, served straight from my server. It has no analytics, no account, and doesn't send your location anywhere. Install it because you trust me, the same as any sideloaded app.
Why does my phone warn me during install?
Android shows an "install unknown apps" warning for anything that didn't come from the Play Store, and Play Protect may add its own. That's expected for sideloading. You allow installs from your browser or files app once, then continue.
What permissions does it need?
Location, so it can show where you really are and inject the fake fix, and permission to run a foreground service so the mock location survives a screen lock. No contacts, no photos, no background storage beyond a GPX file you pick yourself.
Can apps tell I'm faking it?
Sometimes. rioSpoofer uses Android's official mock-location system, so any app that specifically checks the OS "is mock" flag can see the fix is simulated. No userspace app can hide that flag. For ordinary maps it's invisible; for apps built to detect mocking, it isn't.
Why isn't it on the Play Store?
Google doesn't allow mock-location apps in the store, and this is a personal tool for friends rather than a product. Sideloading is the point, not a workaround.
What does it cost?
Nothing. It's free, there's no account, and there are no trackers on this site or in the app.
